PhD Fellowships

Join the Physics and Chemistry of Biological Systems PhD program (recently renamed Molecular and Statistical Biophysics) at SISSA, which offers 4-year fully funded positions.

Post-doctoral Fellowships

We welcome applications from post-doctoral researchers. Our group is happy to support you in applying for external funding.

Opening in Molecular and Statistical Biophysics (Jan 2025)

Currently, there is an open call in the Molecular and Statistical Biophysics group. This is an unusual position: the reference PI should be from the indicated list (Giovanni Bussi, Cristian Micheletti, and Angelo Rosa) but it’s not predetermined. For this reason, there is no a priori project attached to this position, but the projects proposed by the applicants will be evaluated and compared. Collaborative projects between the listed groups are also welcome. Please find more information at this link (Postdoc position in Molecular and Statistical Biophysics).

Undergraduate Projects

We are involved in the Master in Physics of Complex Systems, offering opportunities for internships to students in this program and external undergraduate students.

Visits

We warmly welcome PhD students, post-docs, and senior researchers from other groups who are interested in visiting us for collaborations. Our weekly group meetings are fully hybrid, enabling continued collaboration even beyond the duration of the visit. If you’re interested in arranging a visit or discussing potential collaboration topics, feel free to get in touch.
